Despicable At Any Speed.

Tony Snow's play of the "Cancer Card" today has provided him with the break he needed.

At the end of his first press conference, where he did nothing more than lay down the ground rules without sharing any useful information, Snow was asked about surviving his battle with cancer.

So now, CNN and Fox can legitimately replay this bullshit every 10 minutes (as they've done all afternoon).

In all fairness HRC the guy derserves to be called out on his record. However a personal illness and family members should be left out of the poltical arena. In 2004 Edwards made the statement about Cheneys daughter and Democrats paid the price. you are doing a great job and please keep up the hard work. You are to smart and you are above personal attacks. Please keep up all the hard work and democrats do have better ideas. You are helping to get our agenda out and you a true great democrat.

I'm sorry, I'm as sympathetic as the next gal when it comes to cancer, having had far too much of it in my life. But watching this little display today I could not help but think, "what an opportunistic, melodramatic asshole". If you don't think this was engineered to endear the world to Tony Snow, you're out of your mind. I think it's pretty disgusting that he would use his cancer as a political tool.

That said, this is far worse http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/05/16.html#a8314.

Tony "tar baby" Snow.
