A New Hope.

Catching up on the events of the past few weeks, I came across an interesting video at Video Dog.

As I say quite a lot, if you don't currently hold an online subscription at Salon.com, get one. It's good stuff dished up regularly throughout the day and night.

I used to say that the day Matt Lauer turned into a fucking journalist, I'd probably start watching the Today Show again.

Well, when TV hosts like Matt Lauer start asking the president hard questions, actually pressing for answers -- to the point where the petulent object of his questioning starts jabbing his fingers at him -- I may just start giving NBC's morning show some of my time from now on.

Great Post holding people acountable for their actions is what this is all about!!! Except if you are a Kendall County prgressive then you want to throw your shoes at them and pour a warm cup of piss in their face and tell them hey it my party and I will cry if I want to.

This just in from the Kool-Aide king:

"When we look back on 2006, I am confident it will be remembered as the year the People took back their House. We must have a victory in Illinois 14 in November, and it simply won't happen without contributions from patriots. "

So I guess his excuse on Nov 8 will be that there were simply not enough "Patriots" in the 14th district to get him elected.

The only victory I will recognizes is the victory of John Laesch's defeat. I'M A DEMOCRAT and I THINK LAESCH IS A MISTAKE! Patriots my ass.

I think Matt Lauer left him off too easy, too. Not that this didn't impress me just a little.

Did you see Brian Williams interviewing Bush a few weeks ago in New Orleans on the anniversary of Katrina? Bush claimed to have read a philosophy book that he clearly had not and Williams made him look like a complete ass.

Glad to see you posting again, woman! Hope everything is better on the personal front.
