And This Started When?

It's like going to the doctor, who upon hearing your symptoms, is puzzled at your delay making the appointment.

Israel has been bombing the shit out of Lebanon for five days now, and the government of the U.S. is now mobilizing... to send a cruise ship to pick up some of the 25,000 Americans still stranded there.

I'm not up on the math, but I'm pretty sure one cruise ship is not going to make much of a dent in those numbers.

Fewer than 100 Americans have been evacuated from Beirut up to this point. Perhaps their last name was Bin Laden, and they received favorable treatment.

One must wonder how long this goes on before this wholly inept government of ours has a brush with another Katrina Clusterfuck.

I think that would officially be Clusterfuck 77.

It's easy to say your doing something, and very hard to actually do it.

Why doesn't our ilustious leadership tell the airlines (or military transport) to get asses to beruit and get our people out. We did it in Berlin and broke the Soviet Unions will.

This isn't that hard.

John Laesch and the ss Accountablity have been distpatched. John Laesch is asking special permission to recommission PT109} stay tuned for more information.

I'm getting sick of these campaigns. John Laesch's campaigne has sucked every sing volunteer and every single penny out of this districts races. There are no more resources out there & the Democratic party doesn't help a bit.

Signed: a candidate

P.S. I can't say who I am for if I do I will be shunned from society for speaking my mind. If ya ain't with us yer again us.

John Laesch supports all candiates on the democratic ticket in November! Working hard on behalf of all candiates go to www.john06.com and you can listen for yourself on live podcasts and read the press releases about how John is supporting his fellow democrats. As far as the charge of drying up all the resources each campagin is responseable for their own fundrasing efforts. We are supporting fellow events like Frank Craigs last fundraiser. As for your other charge about being shunned John Laesch's coat tails are long enough for all people and candites wishing to support the cause. We will not force people to join us we can only ask that is just being a good American. We do not judge rather we only work hard because if we allow Hasert another two years then we will never recover from the damage he will inflict. Do you want that on your conscience.

Okay... Maybe I'm wrong. There is a vaccum though, and the sucking sound is coming from Yorkville.

Anonymous said...

That Vacumn you speak of is John Cleaning up corruption. Get used to Congressman John Laesch!!!

blabbermouth said...

On the contrary, political neophyte Laesch epitomizes corruption with his compulsive lies, publicity stunts, and dirty politics.

A word of advice for the local, anomymous politician, don't sell out to Laesch. Run your own campaign with integrity.

Anonymous said...

We need party unity and that is what John Laesch wants so please stop hurting John he is the real deal

Anonymous said...

John Laesch is about 3 things
1. his right hand
2. world domination
3. a pretty little red wagon
Rosebud

blabbermouth said...

No offense, Anon, but how long have you known Laesch? I'm not hurting him, his own actions are hurting him.

When I warn a local candidate about the Laesch campaign, I'm trying to do that person a favor. Laesch may preach party unity, but he doesn't practice it while he's busy talking behind the backs of the candidates he pretends to support.

Anonymous said...

That does not sound like JL he would never talk about people behind their back. Come on tell the truth JL never said anything anyone he is my hero and you are a zero if you belive that stuff.

Anonymous said...

The laesch campaign is good.

Why?

By keeping the regressive council tied-up with his loosing effort the rest of the party canidates are free to do as they please without the harmful interference from the regressive council, or the current junta in Kendall County.

Rejoice in your freedom Mr Canidate!

(ever get the feeling that the Kaiser is laughing his ass off?)

I may be a blabbermouth, but I'm not the liar here. I'm telling the truth, you just don't want to hear it.

Anonymous said...

Listen blabbermouth sounds like you know the other John Laesch in the 14th district you know the one everyones says likes to beat up women. The John Laesch on record is a god fearing Christian who likes apple pie and drives a chevy. John is geniue and honest please show us proof or are you like the rest of the people who make THINGS UP!! lOOK FORWARD TO YOUR ANSWER. TIL THEN I WILL SIT BACK WITH A HOT CUP OF COFFEE AND READ SOME PLATO.

Laesch likes to beat up women? Where did that come from? Is there a police report or something?

I'd like to know what everyone thinks of the other candidates in Kane County.

I'm not attacking Laesch. I'm laughing at that swiftboat riding a low wave on the Fox River. Seriously, I haven't heard that one before. What is it he is supposedly done?

Anonymous said...

Just Honestly it is nice to hear that someone is finally stepping up and speaking the truth. John Laesch is a loser his buddies are losers the only press this punk will get is when they lock his crazy ass up in Elgin!!!

Anonymous said...

John's actions speak a lot louder than his words, and beating up women is the least of it. His anti-Hispanic campaign against Ruben Zamora, his insane confrontations with Hastert's staff and his plan for exiting Iraq is enough to convince me that the man belongs in a VA mental health facility (he is, after all, a veteran) and certainly not in congress. Tell the neophyte to pack it in and go back to Newark, or wherever he may really be from.

just honestly said...

What do you all think of Linda Chappa Lavia, Frank Craig, Joe Serra, Linda Holmes????

blabbermouth said...

JH, if you're looking for a campaign to put your efforts into, I'd help Linda Chapa LaVia. The others have some chance, and are generally okay, but Linda has proven herself to the community and earned your support (and could really use it, too). She has some quirks, but imho, the others have more.

Anonymous said...

Nobody knows who they are. They Linda Chapa but nobody knows the others. FYI who is helping these candiates fundraise? We know laesch has been taken care of after all he is the only person that matters right. Just being honest

Anonymous said...

Linda Chapa Lavia is a great person and strong on the issues Blabbermouth is right we need her to win. We have excellent people in Frank Craig, Linda Holems and Joe Serra, We need to keep Linda in office because she is a beacon of light and is strong enough to tell John Laesch to stick it up his butt. Linda has been a champion of the Democratic Party for almost a decade. She is great in Springfield and the reality is progressives, democrats and indepedents understand that Linda is great for all of us. Help Her to. Also there are some great candiates up north in Mike Noland, Pat Perez and Annie Collins just to name a few. We have an opprtunity here in Kane County to increase our presence on the County Board as well. That is where the resources should go not wasteing them on John Laesch. Kick his ass out of Aurora and Kane County. Word on the street is they love him in Kendall and dekalb let them handle that goof. Here in Kane county we care about electing Democrats not doing a poltical experiment.

blabbermouth said...

Yes, we need to support our Kane Co. people. I'd suggest Annie Collins. She's been preoccupied with some family stuff, so she could really use some help getting back on track. Contact her next week.

I have my reservations about many of the others, but that's just me. I know too much about them and I have hight standards. Certainly, they're probably better than the incumbents. Just pick a candidate and volunteer. Or call them up and see where they stand on the issues. Not a popular subject, but campaign contributions help, even if you only have a little bit to give. (Linda CLV probably needs volunteers more than $, but I bet the rest could use some $-lovin')

blabbermouth said...

Btw, to the anon. infatuated with JL,
I thought he drove a Jeep, not a Chevy. And God-fearin' sounds more OT to me than the God-lovin' in the NT.

Anonymous said...

IMHO you are a poo poo head { Blabermouth} I think John Laesch is the greatest American to ever run for office. Quite frankly screw all other Kane County Democratic candiates who will not support John Laesch. Look at what we did to the old chairman in kendall county and his family. We ran them out of town on a rail and the rumor is they don't even show up in the comminity any more because of the laesching we gave them.

blabbermouth said...

anon, you make a lot of accusations for someone who chooses to remain anonymous. Would you dare say those things if we knew your real name?

Which Kane Co. dems aren't supporting your candidate? What are you talking about? If you claim JL is supporting them, why wouldn't they support him?

It's amazing to me that you would brag about destroying the democratic party in Kendall County. Is that what your precious JL is about? You're entitled to your opinion, I just wish it was more informed. And yes, please, if you believe Laesch is the greatest American to ever run for office (which has got to be a stretch, even for you), then by all means, campaign for him.

You're also entitled to your opinions about me, but remember, I'm just the messenger. All I did was advise the local candidate to run his or her campaign with integrity, and not to sell out.

John L a "great American..." Ha, ha, ha!!!
What a great American Prick.
Anon, get a fucking life.
You must not get out of your parents' basement much. Ask them next time to give you more than stale bread and sulphor water.
You may be more nuts than your candidate.

just honestly said...

I don't know if the other candidates are getting any fundraising done or not. I know that Laesch only has raised about 100k. I know for a fact that Lauzen has raised more than that himself, Lindner has at least that much, LCLV has over 100k, Craig - nothing, Serra - Nothing, Perez - I'm not sure. Hastert - Millions.

I think there is a lack of support for the holmes, craig, sera, collins. I would bge more interested in seeing them elected than watching laesch crash and burn. All that money going to him and he's gonna lose.

Another insider said...

If JL and his band of misinformed idiots take any credit for events in Kendall County, they're deluding themselves. Sometimes people stop banging their heads against walls because it feels good to stop, and the personal business of the former chair and his family is just that, personal business. It's just a damn shame that JL is making a complete laughing stock of the Democratic party in the 14th CD and will bring candidates in Kane, Kendall & DeKalb down with him -- they don't deserve it and would be smart to run as far away from him as fast as they possibly can. The Kaiser isn't the only one laughing his ass off.

To all the crtics out there John Laesch is going to win. We are proud of building a progressive democratic party behind Leader Birch. We have committed men and women who want to change the national media for a day. We belive that through hard work and postive mental attidude we will succedd. Members of the progresive patriots will march to the polls and John will win with 55 percent of the polls. We may not have the money but we have the people. Everyday at the campagin office 100 people walk in and want to talk about the progressive patriot how can you argue with results like that. It has been said before John Laesch's coattails are long enough for all progressive democrats.

just honestly said...

Laesch isn't going to win this election. The press is not behind him - yet, anyway. I mean The trib & the sun times and the chicago news outlets that people around here pay attention to.

I'm really not slamming Laesch - I'm just being realistic. I know that most of his supporters beleive in him but I don't.

He calls himself a progressive. What's the difference between Progressive and Democrat?

I think it's Democrats in Republican territory who are afraid to call themselves Democrat. That is cowardly.

Anonymous said...

John Laesch is a joke and is a republican in democratic clothing. The job of democrats is hard enough and you have good people like the folks running for state offices. And the Local candiates here in the 14th. Wasteing resources on the money pit like John Laesch is counter productive. Democrats need wins and anybody assicated with John Laesch will take a fall in November. Frank Craig, Joe Serra, Joe Plochard. Meet the progressive team a bunch of wacko losers. Enjoy the next three months. Thanks Birch

just honestly said...

Birch,

I tend to agree with you regarding Laesch and the Progressives, but I wonder why tou say the otther candidates are "wacko"? I've heard rumors about Craig but I don't know anything about Serra or Plochard. What dirt do you have on them? Please share.

Anonymous said...

Lies are what you are spreading just honestly. Rumors that you confirm hearing about John Laesch and great candiates like Frank Craig are false. Please do not encourage people to make stuff up and hurt John. Arden Plochard to a true American Patriot and Joe Serra deserves allot credit for being the first person on Democratic history to oppose Pat Lindner. Our Work on behalf of our chairman Leader Birch and the Progressive Democratic Party is ground breaking. We ran off the old regime in Kendall and have not set our sights at conquering Kane. Any body who opposes the Laesch poltical movement will be guranteed a loss in November. We are standing up for America why don't you do the same.

just honestly said...

I'm not spreading anything. I would like to be informed of the good, the bad and the ugly in order to make a decision. You can then the candidates can defend all of the charges to their benefit. Isn't that the way is should work? Are you spreading rumors about Hastert or do you have video tape of him accepting money from lobbyists? I'm in favor of putting all the cards on the table so that everyone can make an honest decision. If you don't want that then you and Laesch - who I haven't decided on yet, are just as bad as Hastert and the corrupt leaders in office today.

just honestly said...

I would like to know more about Craig, Serra, Plotcherd, and holmes. If their are rumors of dirt, I want to know what that dirt is. They are politicians, they can defend themselves if they NEED to.

Anonymous said...

The only confirmed rumor that anyone can to speak to is. John Laesch will win in November and {Just Honestly} Like it has been stated here before John Laesch's coat tails are long enough and with out John's support Linda Chappa Lavia will lose. Food for thought.

Anonymous said...

Anon,
It's the other way around. Linda doesn't need John. Does John think this way, too?

just honestly said...

Laesch needs Lavia much more. Infact, she doesn't need laesch at all. She didn't need him to be elected the first time around.

If your message is that she needs Laesch that is arrogant and you will lose. I would be confident without being arrogant. People hate arrogant.

blabbermouth said...

Yeah anon,
I don't get it. Care to elaborate on your odd Laesch v. Chapa Lavia comment? Do you even live in the 14th District or know anything about it or how IL politics work?

Anonymous said...

Yeah lets elaborate; With John's Veteran support and strong labor ties. John has revoultionized the way you poltic. John base support in Aurora is only riviled by the Govenor. Lets face it with out Johns foot soliders Linda will not be able to sustain a viable relection effort. John has the support of several national polticans. Wes Clark is comming to the 14th congressional district to fundraise and stump for john laesch. John Kerry is comming here in October to speak at Demopalooza. Joe Plochard is hard at work organzing this event for John. Also we have just gotten wind that Denny has recived Johns well intentioned letter and will be getting back to us about a time and date and location for the debate. These are just some of the imporant things we at the Laesch headquaters have been up to. How about you who imporant supports Chapa Lavia. Food for thought!!

Anonymous said...

Where is that big bad booty Daddy Tom Brophy at. Oh yeah he is finshing his grunt chores and kissing John Laeschs ass.

just honestly said...

So what you are saying is...John Laesch controlls EVERYONES campaign. He has sucked up all of the support in kane and kendall counties. That is the original argument and you just contradicted yourself.

There is a vacume in the party and it is Laesch monopolizing all of the support for a losing cause.

Fuck you!

Anonymous said...

Who do you think you are!!! lets look at the facts John Laesch over threw a stagant Democratic Party which is a joke in Kendall. In the 14th Congressional District John has recurited over half the precinct committeemen in this District. Now I differ to you that I am no expert on the 14th congressional because I did not move here however in Soutnern Illinois where I am from we have a strong democratic presence. Look polticans like chappa lavia make me sick because she is in the pocket of big bussiness and special intrest. You say a vacumn affect is taking place why don't you ask the great Linda about campagin resources. Personally who cares because after November here are the winners Arden Plochard county board, Frank Craig state senator, Joe Serra state House and the john laesch for congress. Corruption ends here with the true democratic ticket. With out great people like this there would be no Democratic Party here in the 14th. John Laesch will win and his coat tails are long enough are Linda Chappa Lavia's {food for thought}

another insider said...

The last anonymous poster has his head so far up his rear end that he has absolutely no concept of what the 14th CD is like & obviously has no desire to learn. Get out of your campaign headquarters & talk to the rest of the world -- you might learn something. JL is a lying, conniving, petty individual who is so naive about politics it's truly frightening -- he'll be lucky to get 20% of the vote, as most REAL Dems are likely to skip the Congressional line on their ballots. The chance of Denny debating this lightweight are slim to none; there's no reason he should. And JL had virtually nothing to do with the change in Kendall -- that was due to a whole host of things that happened long before he ever got close to the county. But good luck to all those young & idealistic Laesch supporters who are about to find out what politics is really about -- and where the power in the 14th CD really lies.

Anonymous said...

You're changing your story - AGAIN!

First Laesch will determine the outcome of LCLV's race, I quote you,
"Lets face it with out Johns foot soliders Linda will not be able to sustain a viable relection effort".

What you are saying is - Laesch controls all of the volunteer resources in the district. That was my argument earlier this week.

Laesch has created a vacume and the sucking is coming from him.

He's going to lose and he's going to take everyone down with him because there isn't enought to go around. Instead of three new Dems in Kane county we'll have none.

Thanks for helping me make up my mind. I'm not voting for Laesch.

Anonymous said...

The laesch team has been out door to door talking to thousands of people about the issues that matter on main street and not wall street. we are dedicated to changing the way poltics is done and if that means that we have to challenge some one like Linda Chapa Lavia we will. She has not track record and what public policy has she done in the last 6 years in office nothing. The people of Aurora are tired of bussines as usual and we are the future of the party. We support a strong progressive platform where we take the debate to the streets and let the people decide. Linda Chapa Lavia is an old party. None of you will accept my question who will lead the party to Victory in November old party hack Linda Chapa Lavia or the new Leader of the Party John Laesch. You know where we stand. Linda is a fine Democrat and when she is willing to work with Congressmen Laesch then by all means our office is Yorkville. Please have her make an appointment John is very busy!!!

Anonymous said...

Is John to busy to have Linda Chappa Lavia's foot removed from his ass. To the Laesch Campagin Linda Chapa Lavia is one of the greastest elected officals we have ever had. Vetrans, kids, elederly, minority, and community issues. This woman has walked the walked and talked the talk. With out Linda help many people around the 14th congressional district would not be for the better. See what the porgresives do not realize is that being elected and talking about are two differnt things. So tell John Laesch to stick it in his ear. Not speaking for her campagin just a supporter. John Laesch is welcome if he wants to work with her however if you don't. Stay out of our way or we will crush you prick!!!!

just honestly said...

I'm going to focus on other candidates. I would like to learn more about Serra & Holmes. Does ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM????

Anonymous said...

To set the record straight:
What Laesch's supporters are saying, or Laesch himself are laughable.
John and his regressive party are blowhards and idiots. The Frank Craig's, Joe Sera's, and Linda Holmes are in no positon to win a balloon race, let alone elected office.
Linda Holmes will have trouble with her republican past and her racist remarks (documented at a public meeting. That was dumb of her.) Hispanics know and will not support her.
Frank Craig has no chance because he is associated with laesch.
Joe Sera is better off staying a stooge of laesch. The funny thing is that he ran for a short time as a congressional candidate, then quit, and then endorsed laesch. Everyone knew he was a laesch plant. The plan would be to then get laesch's support for State senate.
Jim Feeley is a former "community organizer" from Chicago. I think it was Alderman Mel's ward. (yes, Blago's father in law.) He has been very proud of his "bat" that he used to scare "undesireables" from his areas. (Note: Blacks and Hispanics.) Isn't this right mr feeleeY? racist bastard.
And these are people who laeasch claims will help him take Kane county? No. We are not distracted by an ill family member, nor do we like assholes who think they are bigger than they are.
Hey prick, 3 years in the middle east does not make you an "expert." Medically-evacuated loser.
If you knew anything, Syria is not a place to put Americans soldiers from Iraq.
$8.35 is not a living wage.(someone told me they heard him say this at a debate.)
Progressive, my ass. Middle east expert, bullshit.
It's amazing what reading the paper and looking shit up on the internet gets you.

just honestly said...

You sound like a republican. It sounds like you know all of these candidates though.

Anonymous said...

I found out that Serra is latino (not that that's bad) but I didn't know that before. I hadn't heard the racist thing about Holmes but it doesn't surprise me. Craig is an alcholic I hear.

Anonymous said...

Hey, Frank Craig is my friend. I'd appreciate you not spreading a rumor like that.
I could care less about Hastert and Laesch.

Anonymous said...

You people sound jealous of us because we are calling all the shots. You need foot soliders you talk to Leader Birch. You need money you speak to Jim Feeley. You need campagin Advice you speak to John Laesch. WE control the outcome of the election and you should all join us. If all the people here would spend their energy helping to elect the Progressive ticket then we all would be in a better place. John Laesch has been on a mission the only reason he got involved in poltics is to win. Frank Craig is a nice person however the ends justify the means. {Food for thought} Vote Laesch in 2006

blabbermouth said...

To the anonymous GOPer,
Wow, I'm surprised you put that all out there (and I'm the blabbermouth). Some of the things you listed are indeed my hang-ups about the candidates, but I wasn't about to be bullied into posting their vices publicly. Not sure you should have done that, but now it's out there.

Anyone have ideas on how we rid ourselves of this new cabal? These folks are delusional and nutz and their cancerous growth will bring down more than the 14th district if this ClusterF* (see original HRC post) isn't removed. And let's keep our senses, not allow ourselves to get creepy or crazed like the JL cabal.

just honestly said...

So, Serra is a Latino. Sounds like he has a pretty good handle on the school funding issue. I don't know why Anon says he couldn't win a balloon race. Wish there were qualifiers to why.

Holmes is a another story. She's outspoken but I hear NOTHING about her. Wish there were qualifiers as to what she said that identifies her as a racist.

Craig? I won't go there. If it's true I hope he gets help. That is what's important. What are his issues?

Anonymous said...

To Blabber mouth it is funny when you are talking out of both sides of your mouth. JL is going to win as far as the other candiates the postion of the Leader Birch is simple we run to win. As far as spreading rumors you people started it first about JL. The other candiates are grown up's maybe they should act like it. JL has only supported people who support him. JL will win and the others either choose to win or loose. JL coattails are long enough for all people.

blabbermouth said...

anon, you mean JL's coat tails are long enough for all people who fall in line, right? What about independent thinkers and people who have lived and served in this community much longer than JL?

just honestly, what's your hang-uop with Serra being latino? Are you in the same boat than ran the racist campaign against Ruben Zamora, supports and is supported by racists (candidates and personnel), and is now threatening Chapa Lavia? You asked everyone else to come clean and spill the beans. It's your turn.

just honestly said...

No absolutely not. I have no issue with Serra at all. I'm just learning about him. I didn't know he was a Latino. I have absolutely no issue with anyones race. It's a non issue for me. If you would READ I said SO< SERRA"S A LATINO. the Operative word is SO.

As far as a Racist campaign against Ruben Zamora. I just started bloging last week. I just started becoming interested in writing and voicing my opinion last week. I have never been involved with any attack against any candidate.

I AM TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ON THE CANDIDATES AND LEARN THEIR POSITION AND TO LEARN WHAT THE BLOGGERS THINK OF THE CANDIDATES.

Anonymous said...

Blabbermouth the Laesch campagin fully supports Joe Serra he is a fine progressive patriot. Fall in line is your statements. You are useing the word racism these are not part of the progressive vocabaly. Our poltical movement see's everybody equal. We strive for diveristy Diversity meand unity. JL stands for interdity and the american dream. Please stop trying to hurt Joe Serra, Frank Craig, Arden Plochard, these are truly American Patriots fighting for your dream and mine. Leader Birch always says" to erie is human and the clouds will weep" Strong words about forgiving people. We forgive you blabber mouth and we welcome you to the dawn of a wonderful day.

blabbermouth said...

Anon, if you read carefully, you'll see that I haven't said anything negative about Joe, Frank, or Arden. I doubt they're fighting for my dream though, as none of them have asked me for my opinion and I'm at a lot of political functions. btw, I happen to be an American Patriot, too, but my dreams aren't necessarily your dreams. Nor is my definition of unity or diversity the same as yours, although I'm also a progressive.

Thanks for your warm and open-hearted forgiveness of my sins. In return, I forgive you for calling me a poo-poo head and for your poor spelling/keybording skills. I promise to fall in line and hang on tightly to JL's magic coat tails right after I get my head examined.

just honestly, thanks for the clarification. Your odd "so" just made me wonder, as intentions aren't always clear online. I can't read your intonation. Have you read all the candidates web sites? Have you contacted their camapaigns? Talk to their volunteers and ask why they're supporting these candidates.

I think the real questions should be asked of "former" campaign workers and those that have quit the laesch campaign for being lied to, treated like shit, not paid for work, and who think this is a fascist organization--headed by feeleey and lasch.
I have heard the rumors about laesch's past are true. Something about a place called Big Al's. I would like the boyscout leader to go on record about this. Democrats and Republicans are waiting to get this on record---for future use...hmmm. Can we get leech on record for this?

The Progressive Ticket:
John Laesch- 32 from Newark Il claims he served in the French Forgein Legion
Frank Craig- 44 says he was a musician of some kind. Claims to stalk Chris Lauzen and makes a hell of a meatball stew.
Joe Serra- 43 states that he is from the area in his bio except nobody has ever heard of him and he thinks Pat Lindner is a nice person.
Arden Plochard-24 his turn on's include the rain, fast cars, and talking about his huge body parts. His turn offs chicks who do not sleep with him and old people they smell.
The one thing they all have in common is none of these people stand a chance. John Laesch thinks he is a cartoon charactor and these are his side kicks.

Anonymous said...

That is some funny stuff!
Which cartoon?
My guess is one of the smurfs.
They aren't real either.
Hastert can be Gargamel.
The smurfs are so paranoid of gargamel....
Maybe laesch and his supporters are eating the wrong smurfberries.
I don't know.

So you want to get rid of these idiots that have taken over Kendall County?

Good.

Here is how to do it.

1) run for democratic precinct committeeperson.

2) see #1

3) not only run, but WIN. The easy way to do this is to spend $3 at the county clerks office and get a "Walking List" for your precinct. take that list and knock on every democratic voter's door, introduce yourself and tell them that you wish to represent that voter within the party. Remind them of where and when to vote, and ask them for their vote.

4) once elected, at the county convention, vote for party leadership that does not have a connection to the Progressives, or current junta.

5) enjoy your new party.

blabbermouth said...

Thanks for the tip, but I'm an Indy.

political insider said...

You were the one that wanted to get rid of the nut jobs.

There is only one way to do it. It's easy to sit at a keyboard and slam this person or that, but it's hard to actually get out, walk a precinct and make a real difference. The nut jobs in the regressive council were willing to put the work in, and now they get to call the shots.

If you don't like it, step away from your computer screen and "git 'r' done" to quote the cable guy.

Well, to {Blabber Mouth}the Laesch organzation would love your help. Several people here at 50 miles out like to twist our words.

Please plan on attending a progressive council meeting. There you will find like minded folks who do not judge you. People who will support you no matter what happens. Leader Birch is a caring and decent man who pratices love not war. We would welcome you to our family with open arms. We very much appricate all the hard work you are doing on behalf of the progressive democratic party.

Are Linda Chapa LaVia or Ruben Zamora working with the Laesch campaign? I trust them because they've been helping and serving our community before they ever ran for office. I know they're dedicated to the local people first. If they're not working with your campaign, why not? Have you reached out to them? If they're working on your campaign, then I'll consider helping, too. If not, I'll probably stick to the campaigns I'm working with now. Thanks for your offer.

hmmmm, Anon seems to know an AWFULL lot about all of these candidates - even know who makes a great meatball stew. You must be someone who pays a lot of attention to the politics of the area. I'm going to call you Greg. Greg Rivara - editor of the Kane County Comical.

The born on the 4th of july reaganite. What a moron.

Anonymous, You're a loser. I might not like all of these candidates and none of them might have a chance or are the best candidate. I admire them for standing up and trying. I wonder why you haven't run for office? You seem to have all the answers.

I know; "Those who CAN'T play - watch".

As far as Serra is concerned, is it a BAD thing that no one knows him?

He obviously isn't part of the progressive or democratic organization. He is probably the one we should be supporting. He's not an insider. GOOD!

Anonymous said...

Sounds like everybody has one argreement here. That they are not happy with the current state of the democratic party. Well lets try to focus on races that will gain democrats voices in local and state goverment. Lets focus on protecting our elected democrats and lets shy away from John Laesch and his progressive types. We are about 100 days from the election and the more energy that is spent on laesch that is enegy and resources we could be putting into winable races. Good luck to all the people who are running for office and lets win some races.

Anonymous said...

Shy away -- RUN LIKE HELL! Any candidate stupid enough, naive enough or paranoid enough to run with Laesch and his buddies deserves exactly what he/she will get in November. John's coattails aren't big enough to support anyone; in fact, every time he opens his mouth they get even shorter. As for Linda, she has made a point of distancing herself from this nut job & the progressives -- she has important work to do & has neither the time nor the inclination to play in the little leagues. So when all you progressives grow up & stop thinking you own a congressional district that is & will remain overwhelmingly REPUBLICAN you may even gain a few fans, but you might as well pack it in boys... after the next 100 days, you're finished.

News Flash:

A number of the Regresive Junta have jumped ship. It seems that over the weekend a number of the Boy Scout supporters have packed it in, and told JL that they no longer want anything to do with him.

I can't mention names since that would divulge my identity and spoil all the fun, but the number of bonafied whack-jobs that support JL is shrinking.

Good timing since the Kendall County Fair is this weekend.

For shits and giggles check-out who is at the Laesch/Kendall County Democrats booth and who isn't.

The only confirmed whack-jobs that support Laesch still, and who mey not be there are Tom "Mr Nutjob" Brophey, Jim "Fat Bastard" Fealy, and Jim "Too Cheap for TouchTone" Birch.

If they aint there this weekend, then he has to cross them off his list.

I can't wait!!!!!!

Sean Michales the Mayor of Sugar Grove is also getting ready to endorse John. That to me sounds like progress. The Only ship that seems to be taking on water is Hasert. The rats are leaving the ship. John also racked in 50K this week from the Democracy For America. Thanks Sandra Verthein and all the folks this weekend at the DFA Trainging helping to get the word out for John Laesch. With less than 100 days it is imporant to remeber that campagins cost money and the better John Does this will help our fellow progressive patriots win in November. Well thats fine except one small problem that Party Hack will have to go through Congressman John Laesch. Like it has been state here before John's coatails are long enough for all who wish to join the movement.

This is incredibly entertaining! "Leader Birch"??! You're kidding, right? What is this, a cult? "Leader Birch opens his arms to you"? HUH? Why not replace that with "David Koresh"? I've met Jim Birch and I thought he was a normal human being. I wonder what he thinks of this cultlike behavior. Weird! I have to wonder if someone posted that to make these folks look like freaks. Or do ya'll really call him "Leader Birch"?

And LINDA CHAPA LAVIA riding the "coattails" of JOHN LAESCH? What the fuck are you people smoking? Do you pay attention to local politics at all? Do you get involved in the Aurora community at all? If you did, you would know that Linda is considered one of the most up-and-coming politicians in the country who is certainly being vetted for higher office. Not only that, but she's been involved in serving the community in Aurora for virtually her whole life and has deep ties to the people. She makes it her business to represent those people and they know it. Linda is the most popular Democrat in the 14th district BAR NONE and if she isn't rah-rahing for John Laesch, ya'll may want to ask some questions.

Or is it about the cult of personality? Get it through your heads: candidates aren't GODS. They are regular people grabbing for power with either good or bad intentions (or some combination therof).

And what's with all these people who apparently don't do grammar and refuse to stand behind their statements? Fuck the anonymous bullshit! If you've got something to say, stand behind it. If you are so passionate about your cause, STAND BEHIND IT. If you are so sure that what you are saying is right and just, STAND BEHIND IT.

Isn't that what all that Fighting Dems mumbo jumbo is about? Standing up and fighting? Or is it standing up and fighting...when no one knows it's you?

dekalb progressive said...

Listen with Linda in Springfield and John in Washington. Then you will have the best of both worlds. We think is a great person and talent and we need to support her. People at 50 miles are confusing with to many issues. All we want is to change the world for the better Linda is working hard at that we have something in common. She is a progressive patriot with a fine record. We proudly will help her to be relected. Besides with John's support all of our fine candiates will win in november.

Thanks for your invitation, dekalb progressive, but we're already supporting other worthy candidates. You're going to have to prove to us (if possible) that JL is as good as you say he is, 'cuz we haven't seen the proof.

I've heard JL lie and I've seen (read) him lie in print, so please understand if I don't trust him to uphold his pledge for "honest government."

It's good that you're supporting JL, though, if it makes you feel like you're doing something. You might want to support other local candidates, too, and no, I don't mean subjecting them to "John's coat-tails." What's wrong with supporting an independent thinker who is trying to better their community, with or without JL?

dekalb progressive said...

thanks blabber mouth for supporting John Laesch and to bridget up thanks for sticking up for our cause. we need more progressive patriots like you bridget. john is being well recieved and at this weekends county fair we plan to hold Dennis Hasert accountable and demand he debate John. Two years ago at the same County Fair, Ruben Zamora asked Heavy D for a debate. Heavy D doesn't like to debate (understandably). He wouldn't debate Zamora, but then again, Zamora is a bit more articulate than Laesch, so maybe Heavy D won't feel as challenged this time, though I still doubt he'll take the bait.

Bridget said...

Yes, she is considering it, but only when the seat is open. She won't waste her time or money running against Hastert. I have heard from many sources (Hastert's family included ;) that there is a good possibility that Denny retires in 2008.

The best thing JL can do is get out of the way so that sane, rational democratic candidates have a chance... anyone who thinks he/she has no choice but to vote for him because of his democratic label ought to think twice -- since this country is a democracy, blind obedience isn't required.

This is some imporant stuff:
July 19, 2006

Dear Mr. Hastert,

It has come to my attention that you have purposely delayed a House/Senate joint compromise session that would hammer out details for a comprehensive immigration reform bill.

After 20 years in Congress, six of those years as Speaker of the House, why is it that you are just now getting around to tackling the immigration issue. Almost one year ago today you said that immigration would be a top priority.

July 29, 2005 - Washington Times

House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert said yesterday his chamber will work to produce an immigration bill this year. The Illinois Republican placed immigration near the top of the list of priorities when Congress returns from its August recess, just below the must-pass spending bills and just before Social Security. He said any immigration bill must mix enforcement, a program for new foreign workers and a solution to the illegal aliens now here.

Now, as the election quickly approaches you are protecting a Republican majority from casting a deciding vote and hiding behind pending "hearings." I agree with the Boston Globe on this one. I think that you are simply trying to delay this issue beyond the 2006 mid-term election.

June 21, 2006 - Boston Globe

WASHINGTON -- Speaker J. Dennis Hastert announced a plan yesterday for House committees to hold an unusual series of hearings on the Senate immigration bill this summer, a move that will leave little time for Congress to reach an agreement on a comprehensive overhaul of the nation's immigration laws before the November elections.

The decision delays until at least September the appointment of a House-Senate conference committee that will be charged with bridging the vast differences between the immigration bills passed by the House and the Senate.

It also will give House members a chance to tout their support for stronger border enforcement at forums around the country in the weeks before the mid term congressional elections.

I have spoken to many concerned citizens in Illinois' 14th District who want to know why you have not dealt with this issue during the last 20 years and why you are not letting them know where you really stand before Nov. of 2006.

Recently, more citizens are concerned that you were using their tax money to hold hearings all over the country yet none of these hearings are being held in Illinois' 14th District. I believe that the people of this district deserve to have their voices heard.

I have plans to schedule a "Town Hall" type meeting in Illinois 14th District to discuss the issue and let voters know where I stand. I would like to formally invite you to this town hall meeting and let the citizens of this district know where their current Congressman stands on the issue.

My campaign staff stands ready to work with yours on finding a date during the August recess, when you may be most available to attend and hear the voices of your constituents at a location to be determined within the 14th Congressional District. Our campaign headquarters can be reached by contacting:
I will not be sticking around to answer questions until I get back later this evening.

Respectfully,

John Laesch
This is a ground breaking piece of campagining. Time, News week, and the Newyork times picked up this imporant letter from our next congressman.

Also - as far as the "Leader Birch" shit goes - SAME - SAME. I only wish that whoever you are - you obviously have a problem with the fact that there is a new Democratic Party Chairman in Kendall County. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!

Here are some things that will not change in the next 90 days:
1) John Laesch is the Democratic Candidate for Congress in the 14th.
2) Jim Birch is Chairman of the Kendall County Democratic Party.
3) Frank Craig is the Democratic Candicate running agains little Chris L.
4) Joe Serra is the Democratic Candidate running agains Linder.
5) Linda Holmes is the Democratic candidate running for State Senate in the 42nd.
6)Elizabeth Flowers, Ken Musich, and Ruby Gregg are the Democratic Candidates for County Board in Kendall District 2.
7) There is a Progressive Democratic Council of Kendall County and Jack Seachrest is its Chairman - GUESS WHAT ELSE - He and Jim Birch work VERY WELL together.
8).....do I need to continue....

The point is that there are a lot of very qualified Democratic Canidates in Kendall County - ALL OF THEM NEED OUR SUPPORT. I will not sit here and listen to the lies spread by the Anon whimps - I find it cowardly and absolutely DIHONORABLE! If you want to wwrite something and sign my name - at least be smart enough to try an sound like me - YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!!

For a second there I actually thought it may really be Jim Feely. But even he isn't dumb enough to think that an elected committeeman could be removed at the whim of the executive committee.

Granted, he was unanimously elected by the members of the council who were present at one of the meetings, but the voters rejected him, and therefore he can not represent them to the party in the 7th precinct.

Even Jim knows that.

Just wanted to respond to the dirty rumors reguarding John Laesch. Fact one I am working very hard for him and think he will win in November. Fact two The old chairman never respected the people who worked to build this county Tom Brophy, Jim Feeley, Ned Ryerson, Ed Williams, Jim Birch, Fred Dawson, Jack Sehrest, Arden Plochord, Ken Simmons, Jim Birch, John Laesch, Matt Walker. These are the folks who are building a strong party. We support those who support us. We stand Untied for Victory in November and we will take that hill. We lead by example and not by talk.
